Valiant, Varied, Very Cute!

It's V week here on the blog, I think when we get to Z we're going to need a different theme! Ideas on a post-it note on my desk, or in an email if you're that way inclined!

Very Well Done!

This week saw Avon Riders take part in the RDA Regional Dressage Competition.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who represented us at the recent RDA Mid-West Regional Dressage Qualifier.

From our riders and horses to our coaches and volunteers, the dedication and teamwork on display throughout the competition was fantastic to see. All 24 riders delivered beautiful tests, and we’re thrilled to announce that 19 riders have qualified for the Nationals!

Well done to everyone involved!

Velvet Cake

Or any cake, really! Regionals isn't over, we are pleased to be hosting the Show Jumping on Thursday of next week. This is your reminder at all RDA Competitions run on Cake! Shop bought or home made, we don't mind, but if it's home made please include a list of ingredients so we can be allergy aware.

Variety of Half Term Activities

Are still available to book through EC Pro, Including fun in house jumping, hacks, mounted games and Shetland Pony sessions! And if you're looking to reconnect with nature during Term Time, we have a regular "Grow in Nature" session on a Thursday Morning.

Designed for children aged 8–12 years, our Grow in Nature Home Education Group combines outdoor learning, creativity and connection with nature in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Activities include:

  • Woodland exploration & nature connection

  • Nature-inspired games and crafts

  • Seasonal gardening activities

  • Opportunities to build confidence, skills and friendships

  • Plus regular sightings of our onsite horses and dogs!

Very Cute!

Finally this week, we had a visit from an adorable baby owl! We were concerned that he might be a bit young to be out on his own, but our friends at Secret World assured us that it was normal Owl behaviour, and it was called "branching". Apparently, he would have climbed the tree to reach that position!! Adorable!
