We run monthly unaffiliated show jumping throughout the year (usually last Sunday of the month) and monthly unaffiliated dressage winter series from October to April. Occasionally we will also run Combined training, check the schedules below for more info.


One Day Camp DRESSAGE+POLES 15/3/2026

Our Riding Camp is geared towards riders who want to:

Have fun with their horse

Increase their confidence

Improve their mind set so they can ride more positively

Gain new skills and knowledge

Improve their performances
Who Can Come?
Camps are suitable for ages 12+ and all levels of riders are welcomed. We are not hiring out the Centre's horses.
12-17 year olds must be accompanied by a supervising adult. The supervising adult will only be charged for catering.
What does the Camp Involve?
- Two semi-private 45-minute lessons in the discipline of your choice.
- Catering
- Permanent stabling with shavings, but please provide your own hay/haulage.
- Talk by Equine and Human Osteopath
- Optional 30min Posture and balance analysis and correction session on the horse simulator by the human and equine osteopath
- Optional 45min osteopathic treatment
- Lots of fun, meeting new people, learning new skills and having a fabulous day out with your horse!

Terms & Conditions

Any Participants to The Avon Centre Riding Camp will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions when paying the deposit to secure their place.
The riding lessons will be semi-private lesson. Similar level riders will be paired. You can choose the following disciplines:
1) Dressage and pole lessons
2) Dressage and SJ lesson
After the booking you will receive a form via email (end of January at the earliest) to ask about the level, size of the horse, medical info, optional add ones etc. The rest of the balanced will be invoiced by 9/2 with due date of 15/2.
Cost:
Option 1: 2x 45min riding lessons, stabling, catering and talk is £90
Option 2: 2x 45min riding lessons, stabling, catering and talk, 30min simulator analysis and correction is £130
Option 3: 2x 45min riding lessons, stabling, catering and talk, 45min osteopathic treatment is £145
Option 4: 2x 45min riding lessons, stabling, catering and talk, 30min simulator analysis and correction, 45min osteopathic treatment is £170
1. Deposit of £30 is taken on the day of booking and it is non-refundable. The rest of the balance is due on 15/2 (invoices to be sent out at the beginning of February).
2. If people pay earlier but drop out before 15/2, we will refund the balance. No refunds after 15/2.
3. If you change your mind or can't come anymore you may sell your own place up to anyone aged 12+ if they can join your chosen discipline and level.
If you fill your space that is great, just let us know asap, because we will need their details. If you can’t sell your place please let us know too and if we sell your space we will refund your balance.
4. If payment is not paid within 4 weeks of camp, people may lose their place at camp and their place will be offered to other people.

As we all know horses can get injured, so if a place become available, we can contact you directly.
