Time for Term 5

Well, not quite, but, that's right, it's T week!

Tremendous Dressage Competition!

Here's Gill's report:

How lucky we all were to have such a beautiful sunny day for our latest RDA Dressage competition!

It was a pleasure as always to see all the riders dressed smartly and doing their very best in the arena at all levels. Please do remember to bring your score sheets along to your first lesson after Easter so that your coach can discuss with you what went well, and where extra marks might be gained in the future.

We welcomed riders, coaches and volunteers from Claverham, Lyncombe Lodge and Wellow – it always adds to the enjoyment of the day when other Groups come and also enjoy their day out with us.

We welcomed Megan Field who was kind enough to come and judge all four Classes for the first time at Avon. Hopefully we’ll see her again in the future.

Thanks to all our coaches and volunteers that came along to set up and support all day, including running the café. A big thank you to everyone that donated cakes and Easter Eggs as prizes.

Finally to all our staff and yard volunteers, thanks so much for turning out our horses so well!

Toys!

Don't forget that we will have a used toy stall at our open day this year. This supports our ethos of promoting a circular economy and doing our bit to help the environment. Please donate your old toys and we will find them a new loving home! And if your room is woefully short of toys, pop along on May 4th and top up your teddies!

Term 5 Dates!

Term 5 starts on Tuesday 22nd April! Please make sure you've booked and paid for your lessons before you come so we know to expect you!

Tombola!

The Open Day is fast approaching and we are still looking for donations for the raffle and tombola, as well as lots of volunteer support on the day! If you have a tombola gift we have a lovely box in Reception where you can leave it. If you'd like to donate a raffle prize or volunteer on the day, please reach out to Mojca for more information.
