It's K week, and you know what that means. Lot's of headlines beginning with the letter K that are tenuously linked to actual Centre news! So, without further ado, let's kick off the newsletter!
Keen to be inclusive!
We have kicked off the New Year by becoming a member of the Safe Space Alliance. The Safe Space Alliance is a LGBTQI+ led non-profit organisation that helps people identify, navigate, and create safe spaces for LGBTQI+ communities worldwide. Their two core activities include maintaining an online directory of spaces around the world that welcome and support LGBTQI+ communities, and helping LGBTQI+ people get to safety. Here at The Avon Centre we are proud of the work we've done to become and inclusive and welcoming space for everyone and will continue to hold equality at the forefront of everything we do.
Koffee?
K is hard, OK? Bristol Autism Support have a number of coffee mornings coming up this month as well as some training opportunities and a job vacancy! Check out their newsletter for all the details.

We had James last week. We can't have a K week without everyone's favourite RDA Co-ordinator. And if you'd like to work with Kim, we are still recruiting for RDA Coaches! For more information please pop her an email!
K-9s Unite!
We are running a fun dog show on February 2nd! There will be lots of fun classes and competitions! The show will be in our indoor arena. All proceeds will go to our charity for Disabled and disadvantaged people, as well as Bristol Animal Rescue Centre
Free entry and lots of different activities to get involved in!
