June sees the start of Pride Month and everyone at the Centre would like to wish you all a Happy Pride Month! Check out James' brilliant new Pride tattoo!
Kim has asked us to remind you all that Term 6 starts on Tuesday 6th June and runs until Saturday 22 July.
A very warm welcome to Edith and Sarah who have recently joined the coaching team and will be starting their training in the arena.
If you haven't paid for your term 6 riding yet, please do so as soon as possible and before you come to ride next week. Kim has emailed those riders whose payments are outstanding. Remember that if you haven't paid you won't be booked on to the lesson and we won't be expecting you.
The recent warm weather might suggest that wearing shorts is a good idea, but please save them for the beach! Long trousers are always recommended in our environment – without them riders legs can easily chafe against the saddle and volunteers need to protect their legs against brambles and ticks when walking outside.
Good bye Choco
Choco has been a much loved favourite here at the Centre for many years, and this week he went off to his retirement home. We would like to thank him for all of his hard work and wish him the very best and lots of nice green grass in his retirement.
And this week we are also welcoming Bruce, who has started training for lessons this week. Be sure to look for our staff riding him in your lessons for the next couple of weeks.
Can you help?
As you will know if you read last week's blog, we are absolutely delighted to have so many of our RDA riders qualify for the Nationals. To help support their journey, and future activities we have set up a JustGiving Page. If you think you're in a position to donate we would really appreciate it. If not, a share on social media would be great - help us get the word out! Thanks everyone!
Beautiful Bird Feeders!
We are absolutely loving all the updates from Bank Leaze's forest school adventures! Last week they made bird feeders! Aren't they great?
