Give me a theme and I will absolutely run it into the ground! It's E week here on the Avon Centre Blog, and you may think I'm grasping at straws, but that's G, so that will be in two weeks' time...
Elves!
As you probably know (because I've been banging on about it a bit!) on December 1st we are running our very own Avon Winterland! We still need lots of volunteers to help support the event including Elves (see what I did there) to support in the grotto and help with craft workshops and meeting and greeting. All volunteers need to be over 14 years old, and over 18s must have a DBS check. We can help you with this so if you aren't already an existing volunteer please complete the application form here and we will be in touch. If you are a registered volunteer you can sign up to help here.

Event - Countryside Challenge Report
Last Friday saw a fun Countryside Challenge competition with riders from across the region coming to take part in the event. The Countryside Challenge is open to all RDA participants and can be done on or off the lead rope. It involves navigating a number of obstacles in the arena designed to simulate outdoor riding, and competitors complete a number of tasks such as crossing a road, opening a gate and posting a letter for a farmer!
There were 33 competitors and a full day event with hot food and cups of tea galore! Thank you so much to all the volunteers who came to support the event - as always we couldn't run these brilliant days without you.
Excellent Festive Jumper!
And our final E this week is this fabulous festive jumper designed as part of our new artist collection "Art by Indigo". Check out our Teemill store for this and more!
