Updated: May 9
No-one's told the weather it's May, as we have had some serious April Showers this week, but that hasn't stopped us getting out and about when we can. The bluebells are in full bloom, and we were delighted the welcome the Henbury Walkers, who popped in for a cup of tea and some biscuits before their annual walk around the woods. If you have a walking group that would like to come and enjoy our facilities please get in touch, and we can make sure there's someone here to open the café.
Below you can see Evelyn enjoying a cuddle with Beaux in the bluebells.
Call for cake!
I know, it seems like we're always begging for cake, but a Centre cannot run on carrots alone! We are hosting the Mid-West Regional Show Jumping on May 11th, and would love donations of cakes or cookies, or other delicious treats. We don't mind if you make them or buy them, but if you make them please remember to give us a list of the ingredients so we can be allergy aware.
Pet of the Week
This week's pet of the week is Sue's dog Coco. If you would like you have your pet featured as pet of the week, email it in!
And in Coco related trivia, did you know that Coco Chanel is the only fashion designer listed in Time magazine's 100 most influential people of the 20th Century?
