Big changes!

You may have noticed that we have been undergoing some big changes here at The Avon Centre. Not least the name change (from The Avon Riding Centre for the Disabled) and the expansion of our charitable objectives to include disadvantage as well as disability.

We are still using EC Pro for lesson bookings, and will work to get the how to guide transferred over to our new site ASAP. If you are registered on EC Pro we will send you important updates from their online communication hub - it comes from a no-reply email account and may go into your junk filter, but please be sure to check and add it to your safe list, as this is how we will send you important information about about your lessons, subscriptions and more.

We are still sending our newsletter, which will also include useful information about any updates and opportunities we may have. If you aren't signed up please use the sign up link at the bottom of this page. A handy tip - at the moment we use Mailchimp, and if you have a Gmail email our newsletters will probably be filtered into your "promotions" tab. Do be sure to check this regularly to make sure you don't miss out on any news.

We all now have new emails which you will be able to find in the "meet the team" section of this site when we have finished building it. In the meantime to most important email you need is Info@theavoncentre.org.uk - from here we can forward your message to where it needs to be. Please do be patient when waiting for a response. We are still a very small staff team and doing our best to respond as quickly as possible.

The newsletter is still the best place to find out information about all the latest riding and volunteering opportunities. Unfortunately both of our riding arms (Bristol Horse Riding and the RDA Group) are incredibly over subscribed at the moment and we are not in a position to take on new volunteers. It is also very difficult for us to respond to individual queries to please do sign up for the update to keep informed.

We hope you have a lovely break over the holiday period and look forward to the year to come.
