Applications are now open for the Riding A Dream Academy Residential Week (15-19 August) and the year-long Khadijah Mellah Scholarship which starts with a residential week (29 Aug - 2 Sept) followed by 11 monthly sessions at the British Racing School. Both courses are free and are an amazing opportunity to learn to ride racehorses for the first time. We're looking for riders aged 14-18 to apply by Sunday 26th June via ridingadreamacademy.com and particularly welcome applications from young people from diverse ethnic communities.
On both courses young people learn to ride racehorses for the first time, receive expert tuition from the British Racing School coaches, have a go on simulators, learn about jockey fitness, go to the races and behind the scenes at various racing establishments.
