VOLUNTEER

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at The Avon Centre.  Here at the Centre it is important that volunteers have the best experience possible. We want to build a sense of community, and as well as using your skills and learning new ones, to help you have fun and make friends. You will be a valuable member of the team, supporting us to deliver our services to Disabled and Disadvantaged people in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

 

We have several areas to volunteer in, including helping on the stable yard with looking after the horses, helping support in lessons and with activities, help with administrative tasks in the office or helping on the land with fence building and maintenance. If you can't commit regularly we also run events on a Sunday that require support.

At present, due to our low staff numbers we are unable to offer supported volunteering for people who need extra help, but we hope that we will be in a position to do so before too long.
